A bureaucratic break for some Canadian air passengers to the U.S. with a stop over at the Edmonton International.
The Edmonton Airports Authority has launched the “U.S. Quick Connect” program.
In the past, travellers were forced to leave the secure area, collect their baggage and re-screen outside of U.S. Customs. Now, the secured bags are moved directly from plane to plane and the passengers stay in the secure area.
