The Prime Minister’s Office announced yesterday that Mr. Stephen Rigby, currently Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, will become President of the Canada Border Services Agency on 1 August 2008. He replaces Mr. Alain Jolicoeur.
Mr. Rigby has had a distinguished career in the civil service, including two years as Executive Vice-President of the CBSA, Acting National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, and Assistant Commissioner in a number of policy areas at the Canada Revenue Agency.This and other changes in senior ranks of the public services, and biographical information, are announced on the Government of Canada website here.
