Trade Subcommittee Reviews Customs Issues Ahead of Reauthorization Bill

The House Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee recently held a hearing on a wide range of issues concerning U.S. Customs and Border Protection as part of the process of developing a customs reauthorization bill. Subcommittee Chairman John Tanner, D-Tenn., said he hopes to introduce a bill by the congressional August recess and to secure House approval by the end of the year.
